About the
African Biotrade Festival
Explore the potential of African plant biodiversity at the 1st African Biotrade Festival in collaboration with Organic & Natural Products Expo Africa 2023.
The event is a multi-stakeholder platform to open action orientated solutions to overcome market barriers through brokering knowledge flows between biotrade actors and is aimed at investors, researchers, buyers and innovators from the food, fragrance, flavours, ingredients and cosmetics sectors. Visitors will meet biotrade producers, suppliers and communities, and see how the biotrade sector is addressing quality, market access, regulatory compliance and global competitiveness.
The festival will host discussions about biotrade challenges and opportunities, with an emphasis on market access, building business support networks, and linkages within the biotrade ecosystem.
